BDCIA2023

2023 International Conference on Big Data, Computational Intelligence and Applications (BDCIA2023) has been successfully held in Huanggang, China on November 3, 2023. It is organized by Huanggang Normal University. BDCIA is the important platform that brings both industry and academia for the dissemination of technological advances, research results and applications in the fields of Big Data, Computational Intelligence and Applications.The conference will provide a valuable opportunity for researchers and industry experts to exchange their ideas face to face.

Prof. Zhonglin He, Dean of the Computer School, Huanggang Normal University, delivered the opening speech in his capacity as the conference general chair.He introduced the main agenda and themes of the conference in his speech, and thanked all participants for their enthusiastic support. He also emphasized the importance of big data, computational intelligence and applications in today's world, which is also the original intention of this conference.

Dr. Muhammad Ishfaq of Huanggang Normal University gave a keynote speech entitled “Machine Learning at the Forefront of Drug Discovery: Advancements in Virtual Screening and Beyond”, discussing the application of machine learning in drug research and development, as well as the latest progress in fields such as virtual screening.

Prof. Ljiljana Trajkovićof Simon Fraser University, Canada delivered a keynote speech entitled“Machine Learning for Detecting Internet Traffic Anomalies”, discussing the application of machine learning in detecting Internet traffic, which is of great significance to network security.

Pong of New Jersey Institute of Technology, USA delivered a keynote speech entitled “Contactless Sensing in Condition Monitoring and Anomaly Detection for Smart Grid: New Possibilities and Alternatives”, which is focused on smart grid monitoring and anomaly detection, as well as the application of contactless sensing technology.

These wonderful speeches provided participants with profound insights, inspired new thinking and research motivation, and brought a rich academic feast to the participants.
